Guilty Pleasures (Autos)

Asked by the Autocar magazine some time ago;

Sometimes a car isn’t great, or even particularly good, but you can’t help liking it. Time for the magazine team to reveal their irrational objects of desire. So they have obviously answered their guilty pleasures with the lines of Rover Streetwise, Suzuki Jimny, Aston Martin Rapide, Fiat Punto Evo and Volvo 360… so quite a variety of average as well as fancy.

But I thought I would get in the game and reveal my guilty pleasure… actually a selection of my guilty pleasures. So ignoring my obsessions with the 1970’s Aston Martin V8 Vantages and Volantes, the 2019’s AM Vanquish Zagato Shootingbrake and the 1980’s Lagondas’, and of course my obession with the Lotus Esprit V8‘s, here is a selection of the average and not to average cars :
