Toast
Following the misadventures of Steven Toast, a middle-aged, self-absorbed, and bumbling actor who is desperately trying to revive his faltering career in the London theatre and film industry. He often finds himself in ridiculous situations, both on and off stage, and his narcissism and delusions of grandeur often lead him astray.
In addition to the Matt Berry’s main character, the show features a talented ensemble cast that includes Doon Mackichan as Toast’s agent, Harry Peacock as his nemesis Ray Purchase, Robert Bathurst as his arch-rival, Ed Howzer-Black and Tracy-Ann Oberman as Ray Purchases’ wife ‘Mrs. Purchase’ and Alan Ford as the foul mouthed Alan the Homeopath.

“Toast of London” is a modern [well old now] quirky inventive storytelling classic. The show has a cult following and is praised for its unique take on the classic British sitcom formula.

Hilarious, irreverent, and absurd – Toast of London delivers brilliant non-PC entertainment.
